Atlanta closer Billy Wagner (5-1) loaded the bases in the ninth with one out. He struck out Dan Uggla for the second out before a passed ball by the catcher allowed the Marlins to tie the game.

Murphy, who hit a game-winning homer to beat Colorado on Monday, then drove a pitch from Wagner into center field for the victory.

Florida's Jose Veras (2-0) earned the win despite squandering the lead in the ninth inning for the Marlins.

In Philadelphia, Roy Halladay cruised through eight innings and led Philadelphia over Colorado.

Johnson, the third major league player to hit for the cycle this season, hit a solo home run in the first, doubled in the fifth and tripled in two runs when the Diamondbacks took a 4-3 lead in the sixth. He completed the feat with a line-drive single in the eighth, becoming the fourth Arizona player to hit for the cycle in the franchise's 13-year history.

The Giants scored two unearned runs on consecutive throwing errors by starting pitcher Edwin Jackson. A third unearned run came home after right fielder Justin Upton misjudged a fly ball in the ninth inning.

In Pittsburgh, Aaron Cunningham's triple started San Diego's four-run second inning which set up victory over Pittsburgh.

Cunningham's leadoff triple in the second was followed by a walk, two singles including pitcher Kevin Correia's sharply hit RBI single, Chris Denorfia's run-scoring double and the sacrifice flies by Hairston and Gonzalez.
