Officers confirmed that the incident happened at Al-Haiet court, 240 km south of Hail.

The police did not identify the two men but said the employee entered the judge’s office last week and threatened to kill him after a heated discussion. The pair had to be separated by colleagues.

Officers said the worker was being interrogated to find out the motives behind his threats.

Court sources say tensions had been building up between the two for a long time.
