“The victim contacted the Salama police station on Oct. 19 and told officers that he did not know who could have committed the crime. Officers then launched an investigation into the incident,” said Col. Misfar Al-Juaid, spokesman for Jeddah police.

He added that officers arrested the four men who are in their 30s after an extensive search. The arrested men are currently in custody at Salama police station.

Meanwhile, police in Dhahban arrested two Pakistani nationals in their 40s for stealing steel from a building belonging to a 47-year-old Saudi man.

“The victim contacted the police saying he saw two men in a white 1992 Chevrolet hauling steel from his building which is under construction. This happened at around 7 p.m. The man tried to stop them himself but the two men fled,” said Al-Juaid.

“The victim noted the vehicle’s license plate number and called the cops. The two men were arrested an hour later and taken to jail,” he added.
