The fight was reportedly triggered by an attempt by a group of people to lynch a man for an unknown offense.

One man was shot by his nephew while entering a restaurant in Shehar district, an apparent revenge attack related to the death of another male family member. Details about the first killing were not available.

Ten suspects were arrested after the feud. Five have allegedly confessed to their involvement in the crime.

One of the five men that was found guilty is the paternal uncle of the nephew and was considered the key orchestrator of both murders. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for his involvement in the first killing and 12 years for his role in the second killing.

The case involving the nephew, who is charged with being the trigger-man in the second murder, is still being reviewed in court. A brother of the murdered man — the maternal uncle of the nephew — was sentenced to 11 years.

Three sons of the murdered man were also sentenced for their involvement in the feud: One son received five years in prison while the other two sons received two year sentences.
