Maashouq joined Aramco in 1984 and among other posts has worked in corporate planning and was president and chief executive officer of Aramco's affiliate in the Philippines, Petron Corp, among other posts. He is now chairman of Luberef and a board member of PetroRabigh.

Dabbagh's previous assignments were as a president and CEO of Saudi Petroleum International Inc. (SPII), a subsidiary of Aramco Services Co (ASC). He was also an executive director of marketing, supply and joint venture coordination and a manager of crude oil sales and marketing among other posts.

Dabbagh has also served as board director of Showa Shell, Fujian Refining and Petrochemical Co., Luberef, SUMED and Saudi Aramco Investment Management Co. and was vice chairman of Sinopec SenMei Products Co.
