- TAIF: Businesses along the highway from Taif to Makkah are being stringently checked by Taif municipality to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
In the run-up to Eid Al-Adha, the municipality will also be supervising local markets and abattoirs for any violations. Over 300 employees have been stationed to carry out the checks over the Haj holidays. The municipality has recorded a number of violations in the past few days at a number of eateries across the area.
