- RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah received on Tuesday princes, ministers, officials and citizens who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha at his palace in Riyadh.
The king is currently taking rest on the advice of doctors following a slipped disc. Speaking on the occasion, the king said: "Brothers, thank you, I wish success and thanks to every Saudi citizen inquiring about my health. I thank Allah that I am fine and in good health as long as you are fine."
Referring to his illness, the king said, "I don't know what this illness is. Some people call it a slipped disc and some others sciatica ... However, if Allah wills everything will be fine."
I wish you all success and thank all citizens and others from far and near who expressed concern over my health. Let me please shake your hands although I cannot stand up," the king told the visitors.
