- JEDDAH: Al-Ittihad continued to top the Saudi Basketball Federation League table when they scored a comfortable 84-64 win over Masera in week seven.
- Masera fought well but was gunned down by Ittihad from beyond the three-point mark.
Ittihad connected with 11 threes and Masera only hit 5.
Ittihad's captain Adel Al Johani sunk in 5 threes and was the game's top scorer with 26 points.
Top man for Masera was import Lance Perique with 23 points. This week Ittihad also played a make-up game against Wehdah winning 87 to 79.
In other week seven results Wehdah beat Ahli 57 to 47. Ohud got the better of Jubail 78 to 61. Fath topped Hilal 63 to 52. Ansar downed Nahdah 65 to 45 and Shurook edged out Safa 89 to 85.
Ittihad holds down the first spot followed by Ansar, Fath, Ohud, Hilal, Ahli, Nahdah, Wehdah, Jubail, Masera, Shurook, and Safa.
Ittihad hits the tough part of its match-ups facing Ahli, Ansar, Hilal, and Ohud in the next four weeks.
