On arrival at Mohammed V International Airport the Saudi leader was greeted by King Muhammad VI of Morocco, as well as senior Moroccan and Saudi officials.

A large number of Moroccans including women and children had lined up along roads to greet King Abdullah, carrying his photographs and flags of both countries as his motorcade passed by them from the airport to his residence in Casablanca.

King Abdullah underwent a successful back surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in November. In a press statement last week, King Abdullah reassured his well-wishers that he was in good health and would return to the Kingdom very soon.

The king was accompanied by a number of senior princes and officials, including Prince Muqrin, chief of intelligence, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, state minister and commander of the National Guard, Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah, governor of Najran, and Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah.
