- RIYADH: Occupancy rate of hotels in the Kingdom rose by 10 percent in the third quarter of 2010 compared to the same period in the previous year, a statistical report said on Sunday.
It said hotel occupancy rates from July to September 2010 reached 68.1 percent compared to 57.9 percent during the same period in 2009, registering 10.2 percent increase.
Occupancy rates of furnished apartments rose slightly by 0.4 percent during the same period, the report added.
