- RIYADH: Studies at Saudi primary schools would be suspended for two weeks because of rains and will be re-opened on Feb.
- 12, an Education Ministry statement said Thursday.
The ministry said examinations of Jan. 29 would be conducted in the beginning of the second semester, which starts on Feb. 12.
The International Indian School in Jeddah announced separately that there would be no classes on Saturday, and the CBSE Plus 2 practical exam has been postponed.
“This is due to the damage caused by Wednesday’s downpour to our infrastructure and buses that need additional maintenance,” a school spokesman said on Thursday.
