He also watched the signing of an agreement between Abdullah Al-Othman, president of the university and supervisor of the institute, and 10 international companies including BAE, Boeing and Advanced Electronics.

Later addressing the ceremony, Prince Khaled highlighted the support of Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation for the advancement of science and technology in the Kingdom.

He said the institute would contribute to the transfer of technology to the Kingdom.
