- JEDDAH: ALJ Community Initiatives (ALJCI) has provided a fleet of vehicles to the Volunteer Center operating from the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events for transporting food aid to victims of the recent floods in the city.
Ibrahim Badawood, ALJCI’s CEO, said that in coordination with the management of the Volunteer Center, ALJCI has provided 13 Hilux pickups, which will be delivered to national associations and establishments to transport food aid to residents in areas affected by the floods.
Badawood said ALJCI is supporting field teams by providing special equipment to clean certain roads and remove accumulated water.
He said ALJCI is continuously seeking to participate in cooperating with other major efforts that are being carried out by charity associations and foundations, as well as young volunteers, in Jeddah.
