- RIYADH: The Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities (SCTA) has launched a website for its Travel and Tourism Investment Forum (www.sttim.com.sa).
Under the patronage of Riyadh Gov. Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the forum will take place at the International Exhibition Center in Riyadh from March 27 to 31.
The website will include information on the forum, the exhibition, activities, details on public and private sponsors as well as how to register. The website also includes links to names of participating companies and past forum reports, among others.
The website will also enable users to download the forum's brochures and plans, details on discussion panels, information on the speakers, timetable and forms for sponsorship. The SCTA aims to increase public awareness of Saudi tourism services and products and increase local and foreign tourism as well as investments in the sector.
The commission also works to develop a positive image of Saudi society with regard to its travel and tourism opportunities.
The forum's website encourages Saudi businessmen to invest in the field of tourism and help create a modern, flexible and valuable tourism industry that considers the values and principles of society.
During the forum, exhibitions of handcrafts and other skills from various parts of the Kingdom will take place.
