Mexico's Rojas retains WBC super flyweight title

OSAKA, Japan: Mexico’s Tomas Rojas defeated Japan’s Nobuo Nashiro by unanimous decision to retain his WBC super flyweight title on Saturday.

Rojas improved to 35-12-1 with 23 knockouts. The 29-year-old Nashiro dropped to 14-3-1 with nine KOs.

The 30-year-old Rojas was crowned champion after beating Japan’s Kohei Kono in September.
