- JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah issued a series of royal decrees extending terms of the presidents of major universities and the director general of customs to another four years, the Saudi Press Agency said on Saturday.
Those who received four-year extension were:
• Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman, president of King Saud University in Riyadh;
• Dr. Khaled Al-Sultan, president of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran;
• Dr. Suleiman Abalkhail, president of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh;
• Dr. Yousuf Al-Jundan, president of King Faisal University in Dammam,;
• Dr. Muhammad Al-Oqla, president of Madinah Islamic University;
• Dr. Abdullah Al-Rashid, president of King Khaled University in Abha; and
• Saleh Al-Kholaiwi, director general of Customs.
