While miniaturization has come to many everyday devices, key chains and the jangling mess extending from them, continue to take up space and damage the electronics we now carry in our pockets. The Keyport Slide aims to tackle that problem. The Keyport is a small box with six slots. These slots can hold six key blades, which take the place of traditional keys, or the slots may be used for accessories, such as an 8GB flash drive or mini-LED. The Keyport even accommodates chipped car keys. When not in use, keys and accessories slide inside the Keyport, which is about the size of a box of mints. See how it works at www.mykeyport.com/news-keyport-slide-video.html.

Lenovo is trying to move away from its stodgy image as a maker of boxy business notebooks. The 12.5-inch ThinkPad Edge E220s is less than an inch thick and weighs under 3.5 pounds. It features  metal accents that frame the black, soft-matte exterior. Inside, the E220s provides an infinity screen for a TV-like appearance, enhanced with Dolby Home Theatre audio. The keyboard is full sized and spill-resistant. Since this is a business laptop, it offers choices of Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors and wireless connectivity includes WiFi, optional mobile broadband and 4G/WiMAX. The E220s comes equipped with Lenovo’s enhanced video conferencing technologies and it also provides an HDMI port to show presentations to clients.
