The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) signed the commercial agreement with SABIC's representative, Jaffer Brothers, for the import of up to 300,000 tons of urea worth $100 million, local media reported.

The first shipment of 60,000 tons will arrive by the end of this month, while a similar quantity will be delivered in March.

Pakistan Economic Affairs secretary Sibtain Fazal Haleem and Saudi Development Fund vice-chairman and managing director Yousaf Ibrahim AlBassam signed the deal, Pakistan's Daily Times reported.
