- JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah issued a series of royal decrees on Wednesday, which included extending the terms of a number of senior officials such as Osama Sadek Tayeb, president of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, for another four years.
Osama Faqeeh, president of the General Auditing Bureau and Saleh bin Saud Ali, president of the Control & Investigation Board, also received four-year extensions, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Other officials who received extensions to their terms include: Prince Mansour bin Nasser and Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Muhammad; both advisers to the king; Abdul Rahman Al-Nafeesa, adviser at the Royal Court; and Makkah Mayor Osama Al-Bar, SPA said.
