- Muhammad Najeeb, an Indian community leader, has emphasized the need to instill moral values in the younger generation in order to protect them from moral degradation.
Delivering his keynote speech at an art festival organized by Malarvadi Balasangam, a cultural organization of Indian children, he said moral values should be infused into art and literature for them play an enhanced role in society.
He said Malarvadi Balasangam aims at inculcating moral values in the minds of children and develop their various capabilities and skills.
V. Moosakkutty, chief patron of the organization, opened the festival that saw a variety of cultural programs including dramas, songs and dances. A large number of Indian families attended the festival.
