A three-day nationwide blood donation campaign was launched by Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, who also donated his blood to flag off the campaign.The program has attracted all health officials who want to "signify their love and appreciation to King Abdullah," Al-Rabeeah told reporters after donating his blood.The blood donation drive is part of the ministry's Salamat campaign that ended recently. Under the program, health officials visited malls and met people to educate them on various health problems that are common in the country. They conducted medical screening programs free of charge to all people, including expatriates.
