Abbas said, "Lt. Gen. Saleh Al-Mahia arrived in Rawalpindi today (Tuesday) to meet his Pakistani counterpart Gen. Kayani to discuss issues of mutual interest. Pakistan Army and the Saudi armies are closely linked and carry out joint military exercises on routine basis. Lately, the armed forces of the two brotherly nations held joint military exercises Al-Samsam-1 in Bahawalpu and Al-Samsam 11 in Saudi Arabia.
