She worked as an IT and French language teacher in private schools, and also as a kindergarten supervisor before opening her own project.

In 2006, she opened a school restaurant with support from the small projects finance program.

When the project succeeded and expanded, she thought about opening a private school to adopt advanced technology and modern science, and teach such technologies and sciences to future generations to help build their characters. The school is seeking to achieve the following:

• Improve level and efficiency of children in the preschool stage.

• Improve behavioral level of the child for the benefit of the family and society.

• Participate in creating knowledgeable and physically fit children.

Lina applied to education department to obtain a private school license, then she started the practical steps to accomplish the project. She applied to Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) — Sairafi Mall branch — to get a non-interest loan. BRJ financed Lina with an amount of SR120,000, payable in installments. Lina realized her dream and opened “Lina’s Private School.” The good thing is that the school has created 20 job opportunities for Saudi women. Consisting of six classes, “Lina’s Private School” accommodates 45 students. Lina has big plans for expansion in the future.

Rola Basamed, director of BRJ Sairafi Mall Branch, said that BRJ is providing a collection of job-creation programs, such as the small projects, direct employment and training ending with employment programs.
