The police said the incident occurred in the Manfouha district, where the five Africans were alleged to have killed another African during a street clash in a residential area outside their apartment south of Riyadh. When police visited the scene, they found the victim stabbed to death on the street outside his apartment.

Eyewitnesses told police the five suspects attacked the victim with knives and clubs.

According to neighbors, police raided a house and arrested the men. Police also arrested eight women living inside the house. During investigations, the police found the women were also from the same African country as the suspects and were overstayers in the Kingdom.

It was revealed that one of the suspects had killed the victim’s brother in his own country and had come to the Kingdom only two months ago. Police in his country had issued an international search warrant for his arrest.

Manfouha police are conducting further investigations into the murder to find out if anyone else was involved.
