BA said it will raise the fee by 10 pounds (around $16) per flight.

That means passengers will pay a surcharge of between 85 pounds and 145 pounds depending on the class of cabin and the length of the flight.

Surcharges on BA’s short-haul flights will be unchanged.

The company last raised the long-haul fee in February.

An earlier rise in December was the first in more than two years.
