Prince Sultan congratulated Al-Zayani for the new appointment and urged him to work for promoting cooperation between the GCC countries.

Al-Zayani commended Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah's role in strengthening the GCC that groups Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
