Prince Khaled will also inspect a number of health facilities in the summer resort including King Faisal Hospital and the Maternity and Children’s Hospital, which has more than 900 beds.

The governor will launch the 50-bed Dhalam Public Hospital, and seven primary health care centers in Aburaka, Ateef, Sahan, Banisaad, Dhalam, Basal, Hawiya and Meesan, the statement said.

Other projects to be implemented include a medical warehouse, an artificial organs department and educational and administrative buildings at King Abdul Aziz Specialist Hospital.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Karkaman, director of health in Taif, commended the government’s support to strengthen health services in the city and its suburban areas.
