- HANOI: The head of Vietnam’s national taekwondo team wants Vietnam Airlines to apologize after he was kicked off a flight after demanding to be let off the plane.
Le Minh Khuong was on a flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City that was diverted to another city because of heavy rain. While on the tarmac at that airport, Khuong demanded to be let off the plane.
The captain taxied the plane to the terminal and Khuong was forcibly removed.
The report in state-run website Dan Viet on Friday said the 50-year-old coach wants an apology.
