Prince Sultan, who visited various departments of the Haia, commended the partnership between the two commissions since the formation of SCTA. “The Kingdom’s strict adherence to the teachings of Islam has been one of the main reasons for its stability,” the prince said during the meeting.He emphasized the need to tailor the Kingdom’s tourism sector in accordance with the hopes and aspirations of citizens, ensuring privacy for their families. “I am happy to say that the Haia has been working with SCTA for the benefit of citizens,” he said.Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamad Al-Sabah, commended Prince Sultan’s efforts to develop Saudi Arabia as an international tourist destination. Speaking to the Saudi Press Agency, after visiting Madain Saleh, he highlighted the Kingdom’s tourist attractions.“Since Prince Sultan became head of the SCTA, he encouraged Saudi, Gulf and international businesses to invest in the Kingdom’s tourism sector,” he said. Qatari Ambassador Ali Al-Mahmoud and Iraqi Ambassador Ghanim Al-Jameeli also participated in the Madain Saleh trip organized by the SCTA.
