- RIYADH: Developments in the Arab world and relations between Gulf countries and Iran will top the list of topics of discussion in a consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Tuesday in Riyadh.
“The one-day summit will enable GCC leaders to review their joint activities covering political, economic, security, social and cultural fields. The meeting will also examine the latest developments of common concern in the Gulf region, Arab countries and other parts of the world,” said GCC Secretary-General Abdul Latif Al-Zayani.
According to another source, the leaders will also discuss GCC relations of the GCC states with Iran and the latest events in Libya, Yemen, Syria and Iraq.
