- JAZAN: The border guards in Jazan have foiled efforts to smuggle 93,033 pieces of ammunition, 91 weapons, 277 narcotic tablets, 263,164 kg of qat, 807 kg of hashish and 79 bottles of liquor last month.
This was announced by Col. Abdullah Binmahfouz, spokesman of the border guards in the Jazan province. He commended his department's efforts to prevent smuggling of drugs and weapons into the Kingdom.
