The seminar, under the sponsorship of Minister of Rural and Municipal Affairs Prince Mansour bin Miteb, was organized by the Madinah Municipality and was attended by delegates from various municipalities.

Ministry Undersecretary Yousef bin Saleh Al-Saif and Deputy Chief of the Saudi Food and Drugs Authority Ibrahim bin Saad Al-Mihaizie attended the seminar.

Ten lectures on the subject were delivered at the seminar, which recommended that such gatherings be made an annual event.
