- JEDDAH: An international symposium on road safety and dangers of car accidents will begin on May 28 in Jeddah’s Park Hyatt.
- It will be hosted by Saudi Red Crescent Chairman Prince Faisal bin Abdullah Al Saud.
Participants of the two-day event will include health and road safety experts and the focus will be on issues like road safety management, safe drivers, safe vehicles and response time for accidents.
Key figures at the symposium will be Arab Road Safety Organization President Afif Alfriqi and Jupp Ghoauz, president of the International Organization for Road Accident Prevention.
Representatives from the WHO and the UN will also be present.
