- LIMA: Left-wing nationalist Ollanta Humala was narrowly leading right-wing lawmaker Keiko Fujimori in Peru’s presidential election, exit polls said on Sunday as voting ended.
Pollster Datum showed Humala with 52.7 percent of the vote and Fujimori with 47.3 percent, while survey firm Ipsos showed Humala at 52.6 percent and Fujimori at 47.4 percent.
Pollster CPI said Humala was in front.
