Speaking during the signing ceremony, the mayor said the municipality strongly believed in the pivotal role of the private sector represented in offices, companies, engineering and consultancy firms and trading establishments. He said these establishments were considered strategic partners for the municipality.

The mayor said under the four contracts, the private firms would extend municipal and civic services to citizens and expatriates in the Al-Jamiea and Sari Malls, Binladin Street and Haraj Al-Sawareekh in south Jeddah.

He said the municipality would open new private service centers in a number of locations in Jeddah to make it easy for citizens to access municipal services close to where they live.

Abu Ras said that with the establishment of the service centers, citizens and expatriates would have the option to obtain civic services from the municipality itself, its branch offices, or the private service centers.

He asked the branch offices and the service centers to provide consummate services to the people and to give priority to their satisfaction.
