- JEDDAH: Prince Faisal bin Turki, adviser, Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, will be the keynote speaker at the sixth annual Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Forum.
He is the gas regulator in Saudi Arabia and is distinguished for his role in advancing the development of the petrochemical industry, both upstream and downstream.
Prince Turki is also the vice chairman of National Program for Industrial Clusters.
The event will take place in Dubai from Dec. 13-15.
“The GPCA annual forum remains a key date in the industry diary, and at this early stage the program has already attracted top-level speakers from major chemical companies and we expect the 2011 event to be the most successful yet,” said Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun, secretary general, GPCA.
The petrochemical industry continues to recover from the global recession and following on from last year’s successful event, which attracted over 1,300 delegates, this year’s theme will be ‘Moving Downstream — Creating Added Value and Sustainable Growth’.
