The PME said the site would provide meteorological data, forecasts, the speed and direction of winds, temperature and other information related to the weather.

It said pilgrims, residents, visitors and other people could browse the site on http://weather1.pme.gov.sa.

It said the site would provide weather forecasts in Makkah, Madinah, Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafat and Jeddah and show radar photos of Jeddah, Taif, Tabuk and the holy sites.

The PME said the site would also provide satellite photos showing the clouds all over the Kingdom and inform about any expected rainfalls. The site will update the weather condition every hour and show the forecasts for the next 24 hours. The PME added that the site would be working during the entire Haj period.
