Jet Aviation has named Norbert Ehrich vice president and general manager of the region and John Langevin vice president and general manager, FBO operations, North America. In his new role, Ehrich will direct activities at the company’s Sao Paulo and Sorocaba operations while exploring additional business opportunities in Central and South America. He will be responsible for all of Jet Aviation’s lines of business in this region. “Expanding our Brazilian operations and capturing emerging opportunities in Central and South America requires focused leadership,” said Gary Dempsey, president, US aircraft services. “Ehrich has vast experience in the industry and proven leadership ability to direct the company’s growth in this market.” Ehrich has been with the company for nearly 20 years, most recently as leader of our FBO operations at Palm Beach, Dallas and St. Louis. He is fluent in English, German and Spanish and has significant international experience including serving as vice president of Jet Aviation’s FBO operations in Saudi Arabia. “Both of our Brazilian operations continue to grow,” said Ehrich. Langevin has a long history of excellent performance at Jet Aviation. He joined the company in 1981 and worked as supervisor for vehicle maintenance and safety for more than 10 years. In 1999, he was promoted to manager of line services and training and became the director of FBO services in 2003. In 2005, he was appointed general manager of Jet Aviation Teterboro, responsible for FBO and maintenance services.

CITIGROUP

Citigroup has appointed Izzat Dajani as the CEO for Citi Qatar, replacing Farhan Mahmood who has been transferred within Citi as head of public sector group covering the Middle East. In his new capacity, Izzat will look after Citi’s operations in Qatar, which include diverse corporate and investment banking businesses covering top tier clients in public and private sectors. He will also lead Citi’s push to deepen client coverage in the country. Izzat is a seasoned banker with particular strength in private equity, direct investments, advisory, private banking and placements developed throughout 20 years with top financial and investment houses in the Middle East, Australia and East Asia. He joins Citi from Goldman Sachs International where he had spent more than three years as head of key and priority clients in the Gulf, based in Dubai. “Citi’s footprint in Qatar is solid, and together with the Citi team on the ground, we will continue to provide the highest standards of banking service to our niche clients,” remarked Izzat. Atiq Ur Rehman, Citi’s CEO for the Middle East, said: “Izzat’s diverse experience and strong regional exposure positions him well for this important assignment.”
