- ALKHOBAR: Prince Nawaf bin Faisal, chairman of Saudi and Arab football federations, signed two agreements with Singapore's World Sports Group during a ceremony at Movenpick hotel here on Sunday.
Under the $44 million agreement, the Singaporean company will sponsor Arab championship tournaments. Prince Nawaf said the amount is liable to increase.
"We'll make necessary efforts to conduct the tournaments at the right times," the prince told reporters after signing the accords.
He said World Sports Group for its support to Arab football tournaments, despite the political disturbances in some Arab countries.
The agreements were signed for World Sport by Pierre Kakhia, president for West Asia.
