You may wonder why those leaders do not like to ask questions to people. Instead, those leaders tend to come up with answers by their own capacities or with the help of and in consultation with their inner circles of assistance and even friends.

Why do you think the leaders avoid asking questions of the local citizenry? I'll tell you what I believe. I think they might not like the answers they receive. That's it!

Life in this part of the world is climbing a giant wave of change. It's the momentous beginning of a new era. People have finally woken up to claim their rights and their liberties.

This includes the right to answer the questions that concern their lives and ways of living. Of course, this is contrary to the way things were for long, dark decades. In the past, people had no choice but to passively wait for answers to come to questions which often were unknown. Frequently, the public wasn’t even aware why it was essential to ask such questions at all. But people in our region are now awake from their deep slumber. It is obvious that the days of lethargy are over, hopefully forever.

Now, someone wise should solemnly face those who lead the people and make the situation clear to them. “Gentlemen, (since they are usually men!), why are you afraid to ask questions of your people? If you really are interested in their welfare and prosperity, you ought to find out their answers first. You aren't compelled to abide by their answers. You may enhance, refine and even change those answers. But on this solid ground of unmistakably knowing what people want, your own answers will be more convincing. Then, gentlemen, God willing, everything will go better.” It's simple!

Asking questions to the concerned and correct people helps leaders to clarify any situation they encounter. Putting people under the spotlight validates their existence, satisfies their dignity and allows them to realize their importance. It gives them that most basic right: to use their upstairs tool - their brain!

The answers that leaders receive from the public should help them to better understand people's wants and desires. In this way leaders are more likely to give the right responses and make the best decisions.

Asking others before any action or decision gives leaders time to think and buys them breathing space. This is a much better strategy than assuming the path is known and then driving off the road.

Again, I see it is simple, clear and direct. It is best to ask people questions and wait for their answers. This is the natural way to find out the real thing — the truth!

Before I go, I want to make something else clear, too. We, the people, have the right to not only answer our leaders’ questions, but to raise our own as well. Yes, it is our right to ask!
