Macedonia International Airport manager Achilleas Topouzas says the Afriqiyah Airways Airbus A-320 plane arrived before dawn Saturday at the airport from Tunis and was met on the runway by a convoy of ambulances that carried the wounded, all of whom had “multiple and serious” injuries, to a private hospital.

It was not known under what conditions the 140 were wounded. Hospital management would not provide any information.
