- “Those who when misfortune befalls them say: Truly to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
Words cannot express the enormity and tragedy of the death of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz. May God have mercy on him for all he did for his religion, his country and the world at large.
Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz is a man who possessed all the qualities of nobility, generosity, leadership and love. Close to all those old and young, rich and poor, men and women, known to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only as a father to all, and close to everyone, keen on everyone, always concerned about everyone. The smile never left his face even in the darkest hours and conditions of illness.
Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz is the epitome of humanity and charity, and called by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz “a moving foundation of charity and humanity” that included all those around him near or far and the times when, he, Allah have mercy on him, cared for the people, making sure to meet their needs. His heart and his door were open to all and at all times.
The death of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz is a loss to the whole world in general and the Arab and Muslim nation in particular. A great man, mourned in every house and in the hearts of every man, woman and child in Saudi Arabia. I can say for sure that every house in Saudi Arabia is mourning the loss of Prince Sultan, the prince of good deeds.
The Saudi society has lived during the past few hours in deep grief over the great tragedy and they pray for God to put him in a better place in heaven.
Our consolation is that he went to Allah Almighty, where he will be graced with the hospitality of Allah.
Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz was a mobile school and a university of all beneficial knowledge and sustainable good deeds. In leadership he was a unique commander, who taught the art and tools of real leadership, always righteous, without losing his smile and his eminence, a managing leader who with his brothers created a modern state in a time record.
He himself presided over the organization of the modern state and institutional building, balancing between the civil state and a modern military force to achieve, after the help of God Almighty, the proper growth of development protected by a military force.
He established a modern charitable institution, an entity dedicated to the smallest and the most important details of humanity. A lot of those suffering who entered this institution ended up having their whole life, hope and optimism back after God’s healing and wellness.
It is his right, God bless his soul, that all of his qualities and traits in the various arts and aspects of life be studied and taught to future generations to benefit humanity as a whole.
God bless Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz with His mercy and make his grave a sight of the gardens of Paradise.
And grace him with good things and forgive his sins, and place him with the prophets and the saints and martyrs and those good companions, for He is able to do that: “Truly to Allah we belong and to him we shall return.”
