- RIYADH: Azeddine Senegri has been appointed the new managing editor of the Majalla magazine in London as part of the Saudi Research & Marketing Group’s (SRMG) efforts to develop the publication.
Dr. Azzam Al-Dakhil, executive president of the group, made the appointment, a company statement said. Senegri studied journalism in the University of Tunisia.
He has previously worked for the London-based Al-Arab daily newspaper as Arab and international affairs editor, and at Al-Hayat newspaper, also based in London. “Senegri has also worked as a freelance journalist for a number of Tunisian and Arab newspapers and magazines,” the statement said.
“The appointment of Senegri to the new post comes in appreciation of the success he has had along with his working team to bring out the magazine’s new website and taking its services to readers through the iPad, iPhone, Facebook and Twitter,” said Adel Al Toraifi, the magazine’s editor in chief.
