His 42-year-old mother gave birth to the infant inside King Abdulaziz International Airport's Haj Terminal last Wednesday shortly after she arrived from Chad to perform Haj.

Airport officials rushed the woman to the health center at the airport, where she gave birth. The medical team that delivered the baby was trained to deal with such conditions. According to airport officials, the infant is in good health.

Abdul Ghani Al-Malki, Haj work supervisor at the airport and a health official, said that this was the first case this year, but they had similar cases of women giving birth inside the airport before.

A couple from Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Khaliq Ahmad and Swaleha, were also blessed with the birth of a baby girl on Oct. 13 in Madinah. The girl has been named Taiba.
