- MAKKAH: Crown Prince Naif, deputy premier, minister of interior and chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, will tour the holy sites on Tuesday to assess the preparedness of the military and civil departments for the Haj and their readiness to extend consummate services to the guests of God.
During the tour, Prince Naif will review plans of all the government and private establishments involved in Haj services and will inspect the development projects implemented in Makkah, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah for the comfort of the pilgrims, including the Mashair Railway that is expected to transport about 410,000 pilgrims.
Prince Naif arrived in Jeddah Monday from Riyadh. He was greeted at the airport by Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and other princes and officials.
