The prince was speaking after receiving military officers participating in the Haj services and members of the Boy Scouts at the Mina Palace.

On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, supreme commander of the armed forces, Prince Naif received the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh, princes, religious scholars, dignitaries from GCC countries and ministers in addition to the military officers.

“Your footsteps are on the truth, you are totally loyal to the religion and nation and you carry on your shoulders the historical responsibility to protect this sacred country and its people. You have proved that you are the safety valve for this nation and its holy locations,” the prince said.

Speaking on the occasion, Director General of Security Forces and Chairman of the Security Committee at Haj Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani congratulated the king and the crown prince for the successful implementation of the Haj plans. He also conveyed Eid Al-Adha greetings to the king and the crown prince.

He said the armed forces have so far successfully implemented the security plans at Haj in line with the orders of the king and crown prince, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
