“The two men were driving on the wrong side of the road when their jeep collided with the victim’s vehicle,” a Yanbu police source told Arab News.

“The two suspects got out of their vehicle and started attacking the victim and a woman who was riding with him.”

The two suspects are also charged with threatening two more victims during the same incident.

“Two of the victims’ relatives rushed toward the attackers in order to help them, however, the attackers shot four warning shots at them,” the source said.

Yanbu police were able to arrest the two suspects. Yanbu security officers along with secret police tracked both men and arrested them.

Both suspects are currently being questioned by police investigators. The suspects will be transferred to Yanbu’s department of investigation and prosecution where they will be formally charged with the crime, which carries a possible prison sentence.
