The delegation, hosted as Haj guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, came to express their gratitude to Al-Rabeeah on conducting an operation to separate a pair of Cameroonian conjoined twins from their village in 2007 on the government’s expense.

The humanitarian gesture from King Abdullah and the success of the operation resulted in the two twins, Rahima and Hamidah, being successfully separated.

The chief and members of the whole tribe of Banky village, estimated at 1,100, and from other parts of Cameroon spontaneously embraced Islam as a result.

“The separation was not just an ordinary separation, but it was as well a separation between darkness and light in the lives of the village people,” said Sheikh Salih Fantim, the head of the delegation.
