The Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer who is also known as Tim Bergling and Tim Berg, has ruled music charts even though he started out as young as 18. In 2010, Avicii has collaborated with A-list music marvels like Swedish DJ John Dahlbäck, DJ Tiësto and Sebastian Ingrosso. While his work is predominantly electronic synthetic tracks, his vocal version of his track "Bromance” ruled as the official worldwide party anthem in 2010.

Arab News brings you closer to who is now the world’s sixth best DJ in the 2011 Top 100 DJ poll — and the youngest to be on top of that list. Only 22, Avicii is ready to conquer more than charts, venues and terrestrial treats. Soulful and subservient, the star credits his manager Ash as his guide. Avicii confesses he surrendered to music and his love for it. The reversal is, the world now conforms to achieving another level of allure, another level of Avicii.
 

It honestly just kind of happened. I got hooked to producing music and from the point I met Ash I just really got to another level of looking at the music and the scene. I wanted to make something of myself in the DJ world because I understand I totally fell in love with the music and the club scene in general!
 

I’m always searching for more, there’s always something I haven’t experienced and people I haven’t worked with. I feel proud and happy for having come this far but I feel that there's definitely more to come!
 

I’m 100% living in the moment. Everything is going at such a rapid pace and have been for the last year, so I try to just focus on the near future and what I need to do. This is also where it’s amazing for me to have Ash who's amazing at planning strategies for my career!
 

I would have to say both festivals and club shows are equally amazing but in different ways. The festivals are more of an experience since everything is bigger, but the club shows can be just as fun!
 

I got so surprised by the response I got for that record. I really liked it when I finished it, but it’s always hard to guess which tracks are going to get big and which ones aren’t since there’s always something I personally like about my own records (otherwise I wouldn’t finish them to begin with). To see that many people listen to it and hearing it in clubs and shops all over the world really humbled me!
 

I have a lot of upcoming songs. My next release is my track “Levels,” which has been around on the web for a long time but just as a rip. We're finalizing the vocal version right now and can’t wait to see the response on that one!
 

The one place I haven’t gone to yet but always wanted to go is definitely Japan, and more specifically Tokyo! Another place I always wanted to go to is New Zealand since I’ve heard it’s so beautiful!
 

Its super different everywhere I go! Since I’m traveling pretty much all over the world, I get to meet all of these different people from all these different cultures. It’s really interesting to see how different people grow up in different parts of the world, both by living standards and the values they’re taught!
 

I would say that I've been super fortunate to meet my manager Ash and the teamwork we have is both unique and effective. He's helping me out with all parts of the Avicii brand and has even been helping me out with valuable feedback on my tracks right from the start. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today if I hadn’t met him! This interview turned out to be much about Ash, but you’re asking the question and I have to show my gratitude. In the end, we’re trying to communicate the love, happiness and energy that house music is all about through the music.
 

The single most important factor I would say is being determined and dedicated to your dream. It all comes down to hard work, even more so than talent!
