It pointed out that water quantities in storage exceeded two million cubic meters.

The company aims to increase it to five million cubic meters by next year

The company mobilized all its operational crews and started its services on time to meet high water demand during the pilgrimage season.

The company ensured ample supplies to Makkah, Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah.

“The whole season did not witness any water interruptions or breakdowns,” said an official.

The volume of water supplied to Makkah and the holy sites during that period through desalination plants, located at Alsaibh, was estimated to be around 600.000 cubic meters per day, according to officials.

A report prepared by NWC shed light on its successful operational plans for the Haj season.

NWC officials said the company provided more than 100 water tankers with a capacity of 18 cubic meters.

It also operated two mobile laboratories at the holy sites to carry out field tests.
